Idiot Originalists and Privacy

Can someone please tell me what is so god-damned difficult to understand here?

Article [IX.]
The enumeration in the
Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

In other words, I think, there are certain rights listed in this document by name but this list is by no means exhaustive. Given the other Amendments in the Bill of Rights, how can one not conclude that they were expecting privacy?

But, if you want to ignore the 9th Amendment, let's talk about the original intent of America's seeming favorite, NUMBER 2. As long as we are paying out more than a trillion dollars a year on the military and police, to keep the peace here presumably and secure the State, we don't need any militias and we can, therefore, take your guns away. Or, we can eliminate the military and police, let everyone have guns and, if the need arises, we can form the military from scratch to defend this country. Think of how much money we could save and use to try to end things like hunger and poverty and injustice (I say try because we will never end it all) and minimize the potential need to ever have to rouse an army from the general populace.

I know, it ain't gonna' happen. America loves its violence too much. But, if you leave privacy alone, to the point private activities don't infringe on the rights of another (and don't give me that bullshit that you cannot prove that a foetus, or even better a fertilized egg, is a separate individual), I won't bust your door down and raid your gun locker.

Deal? No? Too much of a pussy to go mano-a-mano, need your phallic power intact because you can't quite fill the tighties?
